Not much on this page, I'm affraid | Downtown Toronto, with the CN Tower behind. |
Sadly I can't say too much about Toronto. I'm sure it's a lovely city to explore, but all I saw of it was from flying over it on the plane and staying there for a few hours during my layover to and from Ottawa.
What I can say about Toronto is that this city is huge. Aside from the downtown core area, which to me looked from the air vaguely like downtown Los Angeles (except it has the CN Tower), this city was an endless sprawl that continued on and on and on and on....Simply put it's very big.
However, from what I've read and heard, Toronto is very clean and safe and easy to get around--as long as you aren't taking the 401 highway--as someone told me. I'd like to go back there and explore the city a little bit more aside from my exploration of its airport's gift shops in search of breath mints.
I'm sure that'll happen eventually. |
