  • This nice little cozy B&B sits in the lovely residential neighborhood of Jesmond just north of the city center (or about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute ride on the Metro). The most basic of rooms goes for around £25, and with en-suite is £35. This place is a great deal since you're so close to where all action is, plus the staff is warm and very helpful.

Also included is a free English breakfast.

All in all, this is a good, cozy place to stay at.

Unique Qualities: Warm rooms with TV, radio, sinks, towels, a bed or two, and located in a very safe, comfortable area of the city

Great pic - Thanks. Here in "Barking Town" we have the UK's 2nd largest public artwork called "Holding Pattern" - It's 70m long x 50m wide and almost 6m high. It cost £650,000 to build and only Anthony Gormley's “Angel of the North” is bigger.
