    • On St. Marco's square, it seems to be a traditional thing to do to feed the hundreds of pigeons.

    Alternative: Some people still enjoy feeding the pigeons. Remember that if a pigeon poops on your head, you're supposed to let it dry...do not wipe it right away or it will make a mess.
    Fortunately, I did not have this problem because I tried to stay away from the birds.
