I was born in Paris and I go back often to visit. Each time I visit, I discover new areas of Paris which I find fascinating. The best way to explore Paris is on foot and I have tried to capture some of the atmosphere of Paris in my pictures
Many VT members have already completed beautiful, extensive pages of what to do in Paris and I do not want to duplicate what has already been done. I would highly recommend VT member GUYON's Paris Page for his great recommendations of less touristy places and his knowlege of history.
My pages are more "off the beaten path" impressions of this beautiful city. I have not covered any of the famous monuments, museums and other tourist sites. This is a more personal page with scenes that have "touched" me in some way. |

madamx Sat Jul 19, 2008 00:11 UTC Enjoyed looking at your Paris page, those pastries are calling my name! It will be hard but I have to wait for almost a year .... | shutterlust Sat Jan 6, 2007 08:23 UTC thanks for the tips! Unfortunately, my father has it in his head that he can drive in any country and has rented a car when we visit France! (and intends to drive into Paris!) :-) | Nemorino Tue Jul 18, 2006 23:07 UTC Isn't it nice that people are allowed to sit on the grass now at Place des Vosges? (We were not allowed to do this 44 years ago.) | KristaB Sun Feb 5, 2006 00:14 UTC I've never been to Paris, I hope I will some day. You were born here, a real Parisienne? (spelling?) |
