La Porchetta: Quality in an Italian restaurant chain

La Porchetta! We must have tried about 4 of these restaurants. The one in Doncaster (the town we stayed in) seems to be the best to me.
They are everywhere and they are all good. Prices are reasonable. Maybe even cheaper than eating Italian food in Jakarta. The last one we tried was in Carlton and it was also good and has a nice atmosphere.

Favorite Dish: Our hosts loved their Vegetarian pizza while we liked the oysters Kilpatrick and the Spaghetti Alla Matriciana.

This must be a local favorite in winter. The place was packed with people and we barely had elbow room on the tables! It's not just a favorite with the Vietnamese population either.

Favorite Dish: Pho noodles.
