POACHERS MUST DIE!!!!!

In CHIZARIRA PARK. Very wild, very remote.
This is my first pile of ELEPHANT BONES.
Not knowing what I would see in KENYA in 2002. The POACHING destroyed the RHINOS
almost destroyed the ELEPHANTS! Most places they have. Killed me then, Kills me now!! Go and visit, spend the money in the PARKS.

Zambezi, CROCS & HIPPOS

This was a nice part of the SAFARI. But, at times it did get a little crazy. Hippos can tip or split this thing in TWO! CROCS can also tip it over. Your guide will know where to keep the canoe going. Just listen to him and pay attention. It's very important you do that.
Like I said before, this can get boring, but also risky!!

WIRE-SNARES!!

There are POACHERS! I know that!! If you
find KILLS or WIRE-SNARES! The POACHERS could be in the area or maybe not!! In any-event, we found these SNARES!
I'll will talk about these more in the t-log!
All you can do is be ready, your services may be needed. But, we saved some animals
that day!!

SMELLS & INSECTS!

Either in Zimbabwe or Kenya, you will find
carcasses! Just make sure the wind is at
your BACK!! As you could guess, it's not
a BED-OF ROSES!! But interesting to look
at, and discuss. We have here a dead HIPPO.
Lake Kariba. Also, a Buffalo carcass! I was
impressed, the 3 girls on the safari, didn't
bother them at all!
Watch out for SPIDERS! A pretty one in my tent. Only will give a nasty bite. I saw it in the morn. Getting my things together. Have to
take a pic of that too!!!!! It looked like it should
be in a : SCI-FI MOVIE!
