  • Favorite Thing: When in Zimbabwe visit Matusadona Park.
You may get lucky and see SWIMMING
ELEPHANTS! On the shore of Lake Kariba.
We were watching two huge Elephants on
a mound sticking above the water. One of the
Elephants decided to go swimming. So, hey
this is great!! I walked away from the group
about 100 yards ahead of the Elephant.
Hoping he would come out right in front of me. He was coming my way when our guide
waved me back! Never thought about Rhino,
or Lion!! I just wanted my Elephant!!

Fondest Memory: Being good friends with my guide. Also, all
the Elephants!! Just trying to get close!

General Tips: WATER ALL THE TIME!
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: VICTROIA FALLS as everyone knows is a
must. When you go there have something to protect your camera. There is water spraying
all around. Just a thought, what I did. I took
with me some plastic-baggies. I cut a hole
in the bottom for the lens. If needed to I cut a hole near the zip-lock for the view finder. It
worked out find. It's easy and quick.

Fondest Memory: VIC-FALLS is one of the best things. People
ask all the time if I seen it. There so many things in these countries!!

    General Tips: GET AIR SICK??
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: It may be a little more money. But if you can
do your safaris by taking a plane from park
to park. From VIC FALLS, it was only a 2 hour
ride to HWANGE PARK. That we did. But,
from there to CHIZARIRA PARK we took a plane. The place was so dry. We had a good
    shot at some ELEPHANTS already!!

Fondest Memory: It's elephants in the WILD!!

Seeing those elephant bones just piled up like that is really sad. That's to bad, it's not all majestic that's for sure. Cheers to your work on this page. All the best!
