"Sedan, where I was born!" Sedan by jayhawk2000

My dad lived on a ranch a couple miles north of town and it was here that I was born in 1972, the youngest of five children. We lived on this ranch for another three years (making it through a tornado).

My first memory is of managing to walk out the door (my siblings were not good babysitters) and walking to the neighbors down the road. They weren't home, so after playing in their back yard for awhile I made it to the main highway. One of the local preachers picked me up and took me into town, where the folks found me later. Who knows what the town thought of us then, letting a kid toddle alongside the highway, no doubt with a full diaper. But here began my world wanderings....
