| Eye of Horus? Nope, eye of 'our bus'! |
We had a great holiday to Malta in the spring of 2002.
We started with a week in a hotel in Sliema and then stayed in a farmhouse on Gozo for a week, so please visit my Valletta and Gozo pages as well.
One of the ubiquitous symbols of Malta is the 'Eye of Horus' seen on so many fishing boats, but you'll never guess where I found this 'eye'...on front of a bus! |

I've always wanted to visit Malta. I think it's because on the map it looks so lonesome sitting out there in the middle of the Mediterranean. Gozo looks beautiful. I could do with some warmth and relaxation about now. | Echo_29 Sat Feb 26, 2005 19:14 UTC
