Zhuhai is next to Macau and just over an hour from Hong Kong by ferry. The Chinese government promotes Zhuhai as an Special Economic Zone, SEZ, like Shenzhen. They also tout the beauty of the city and try to lure tourists to the beautiful beaches and resorts.
The truth is it is not a good tourist destination. The one beach is rocky and the water poluted. There are tree lined streets, beautiful mountains and surrounding Islands. Most travelers are either businessmen or Chinese from Hong Kong or Macau looking for the numerous cheap massage parlors.
- Pros:Restaurants are everywhere.
- Cons:HOT and humid
- In a nutshell:Don't go here for a vacation.

Not sure if we went to Zhuhai but did get to Zhongshan not far from there which was an interesting people meeting place and of course Cuiheng.
