I'll show you some of best hotels along the Strip in must see activities instead accommodations.Because really,if you visit Las Vegas, you must to see all those huge hotels along the strip and you will spend a lot of time seeing them!!.It is the best activity that you can do here after gambling!! :-)
This is Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino. One of best hotels that you can find in Las Vegas. If you want to return to the old Roman Empire age, this is your hotel!!. :-)
This hotel was opening in 1996, and true to its name; Caesars Palace is a kingdom unto itself, with lavish rooms, fabulous pools, gourmet dining, the nice Forum Shops and world-class entertainment. If you have the chance, can book a room here and have lots of fun having a Vacation "Roman Style!".This picture was taken on the garden and fountain at main entrance of the hotel.

If you prefer to return to the Medieval Age,this is your hotel. It is also another huge hotel located in the Strip.
The Excalibur Grand Hotel,is located in sothwest of Las Vegas, just next to Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. The beautiful building,it looks like a real medieval castle.
Is a very good option specially if you are travelling with children, they will have a lot of fun here with its Tournament of Kings, and Fantasy Faire midway. The hotel has 4,008 rooms, and you can find a room here from $50 per night a very good price comparing with other hotels along the strip. Also has a few restaurants and a very good buffet restaurant, see my restaurant tip for more info. This is a MUST SEE in Las Vegas, the Venetian Grand Hotel brings the spirit of Venice into the city of Las Vegas. Is one of most beautiful hotels that I've seen.A very detailed fresco covers the arched ceilings and it looks like a real venetian sky.Enjoy a drink or a Cappuchino at Piazaa San Marco and have a good picture here, another interesting option may be take a ride in a Venetian Gondola,in the Grand Canal,it cost about $35 for a 20 minutes ride.
Here also you'll find a lot of good restaurants, snack bars,a shopping area called Grand Canal Shoppes and also a Wax Museum,so this is a hotel not to be missed!!.
In the picture you can see to a just married couple in a Gondola.

Of course during your visit of Las Vegas, you must to come and see the Paris-Las Vegas Grand Hotel also.Is located just opposite of Bellagio hotel. Here you'll see perfect small replicas of Eiffel Tower and Arc de Trioumphe and a huge blue baloon.
Because the Paris-Las Vegas hotel is located just opposite to the Bellagio hotel,a good look point to see the Lights& Fountains show there is at the small Eiffel Tower, from here you can see it very well. There are also a few nice restaurants,I suggest you :"Mon Ami Gabi",and some nice shops. The City of Lights still alive in Las Vegas!!!.
This is a night view of the Strip with the Paris hotel and Eiffel Tower iluminated.

roamer61 Sun Mar 1, 2009 19:52 UTC I have to go back. I haven't been to Vegas since the early 1980s. Its 99% different now from back then of course. | deecat Wed Aug 23, 2006 17:56 UTC Manuel, I had not visited these pages since 2004! It was refreshing to come back and review your insights into Las Vegas. I like it that you did so many hotels, shows, tip about gambling, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Museum. Thanks so much for the tour. | whitecliff62 Sat May 21, 2005 17:54 UTC Hi Manuel, Las Vegas has always been on the top of my list, although i have never been there i feel and hope it won't be long, great page. | Gage17 Sun Jan 30, 2005 14:53 UTC Fantastic and thorough job on covering my hometown! Looks like you had a super visit! |
