Las Vegas is one of most beautiful and exciting cities that I've visited.It is located in middle of the desert in Nevada State.
Last year the city drew nearly 30 million visitors,and is second only to Walt Disney World as the favorite vacation destination in the US.If yo like gambling and see beautiful and amazing hotels,this is your place!.
For its nice weather the city are receiving about 4,000 people each month that want,to moving to live and work in this amazing city.
Mostly all best and most knowns hotels in Las Vegas are located in a big avenue called the Strip,and it is the heart of the city.
I've arrived to Las Vegas in my friend's car and and we were coming from the state of Arizona,arriving to the city this way,you can really notice that it is in the middle of the desert!!,the heat is terrible during the summertime,specially along the daylight.
Anyway I really enjoyed my three days visit to Las Venga very much,and hope to return there someday!.

This is the main street in Las Vegas,located in Downtown.All the most important hotels are located here.Here you can see another nice nightview of the Strip.
This is the perfect city where noboby will be bored.(Theatres,Casinos,Discos,Concerts,etc)There are a lot of nice places to go and also all the big hotels in the Strip have some very good shows.Some of them are free.And what can I say more about the Las Vegas nightlife?? in fact this is the city that never sleeps!!!

I have to go back. I haven't been to Vegas since the early 1980s. Its 99% different now from back then of course.
Manuel, I had not visited these pages since 2004! It was refreshing to come back and review your insights into Las Vegas. I like it that you did so many hotels, shows, tip about gambling, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Museum. Thanks so much for the tour.

I have still not made it to this great city. The world all in one place by the looks of it. What a magical city. Wow Free Shows!! I really want to see the Hoover Dam.
My friend got married on the gondola at Venetian! Whenever I mention it, many people aren't aware it's available! :)
a lot of great infos and pics ! Somehow I prefer the REAL Venice and Egypt, but somehow it is also fun to see these "americanized versions" of them. Las Vegas is definitetly a place I would like to visit one day !
Your photos of Las Vegas are very good. Las Vegas is my favorite fantasy city, where it is easy to escape the real world. (Unless you gamble too much!)
Venetian Grand Hotel & Casino seems some great and expensive place.
