I had the chance to see for myself this Nature Wonder on my trip to the States on summer of 2.003,the National Park is located entirely in northern Arizona, the park encompasses 277 miles of the Colorado River and adjacent uplands. One of the most spectacular examples of water erosion anywhere in the world, Grand Canyon is unmatched in the incomparable vistas it offers to visitors on the rim. Grand Canyon National Park is a World Heritage Site.
The National Park is crowded specially during summertime, here you'll see tourist from all over the world,it is one of most visited places in the United States. During these months reservations for camping and lodging are essential.
When visiting the South Rim, be sure to go to Canyon View Information Plaza, there you will find information to help plan your Grand Canyon visit.

| | Sunrise at Grand Canyon I visited this beautiful place during the month of July, the sunrise was about 5,15 in the morning and we all were here at about 5 o'clock waiting to see it,unfortunatelly in the afternoon we didn't had the chance to see the sunset because of too much clouds. This is a picture of the sunrise. |
VT friends at Grand Canyon. First of all,I want to say THANK YOU,to my very good friend Steve, VT member (brdwtchr).I had a wonderful second trip to the US,with him and a few more friends. Thanks for this great trip and for all places and cities that we've seen, really you have been the best tour guide in your country!! :-) In the Grand Canyon,we spent one and half day and we had the chance to ride one small plane along the Grand Canyon. (the best flight in my life!),I suggest you to do the same or in a helicopter to see the best views of the Canyon.Really we enjoyed very much our visit to Grand Canyon!!.
In this picture you can see to Steve and to Cecille VT member (ceswho). | | |
