WELCOME TO SPAIN!!

SPAIN,is located at Iberian Peninsula,in southern Europe.Is one of most visited countries in world,and here you can see many World Heritage Sites,beautiful medieval Palaces and Castles,Roman and Arab sites and constructions,many interesting cities to visit,beaches,and of course NATURE.

Lucky I've traveled through all regions in Spain and I've visited all best places(cities,small towns,monuments,mountains,castles )and I know my country very well.My favorite cities are Sevilla and Madrid,and my favorite regions are: Asturias and Castilla-Leon.

Castilla-Leon it is located just north of Madrid and here you can see a few of most beautiful cities in Spain (Segovia,Avila,Salamanca,Leon) and also a lot of beautiful and very well conserved medieval Castles.

But I like specially Asturias and all regions in northern Spain,(also Galicia,Cantabria,and Basque Country) it is also called "The Green Spain" I was amazed seeing all beautiful mountains landscapes,in fact here you'll find some of tallest mountains in all the country.

On this page I'll show you a detailed information of one and each region,and best places to see in each one,so hope that this page can be helpful for you and welcome to Spain and enjoy the "Virtual Tour".

Regions in Spain.

Spain,it is divided into 50 provinces and 17 autonomous regions,(Comunidades Autonomas)+ two autonomous cities..Each one,has its own Goverment and Parlament.I'll show you on this page,a detailed view of each region,in General tips,also some useful tourist information,and best places to see in each one, at must see activities.Really there are a lot of variety between one region to another,even in the same country.Also you'll find in my country a few diferents languages;Catalan in Catalonia region,Basque in the Basque Country,Gallego in Galicia and a few dialects as Valenciano or Asturiano.

Spain Climate

The best times to visit Spain,are from May till Ocotber. July and August are generally very hot, and it can be a bit cool in October in the higher elevations and Basque area,and all northern Spain.

One of best places ot stay during winter season in Spain,it is the Costa Blanca.I live in Benidorm,located in Alicante province and we got very nice and warm days even in January!.Some people are having a swimg in our beaches even in wintertime somedays.

Loved the castles, landscapes, World Heritage travelogues. Beautiful Into Photo!! Wonderful organization of regions, parks, etc. Quite informative and oh so helpful for visitors. Brilliant photographs to match the excellent narratives.
