KAPELLBRUCKE- (Chapel Bridge) Lucerne or Luzern is a beautiful small medieval town located in the midle of Switzerland next to Lucerne Lake.Is the largest city and capital of Lucerne Canton,and also is one of most visited cities in all the country.
I had a great time visiting this beautiful town,with its picturesque and very well conserved medieval buildings,churches,and views of lake and river.I've visited a few cities in Switzerland but with out any doubts Lucerne is my favorite,the only bad thing is that I just spent a full day exploring the city,really a very short time,I would liked to be there for four or five days at least,but Lucerne was my last stop on my guided tour in three countries of central Europe,but I enjoyed my short visit very much!.
Before arriving to Lucerne,our guide that we had during all the trip,was telling us that if someday he'll be a rich man,then he will buy a house in Lucerne.After my visit to the city,I knew what that means.I want to be a rich man also to have a house in Lucerne!!!! :-) |
