Salzburg ,is an industrial,commercial and tourist center,and a transportation hub.The city is situated on both banks of Salzach river,the city is bounded by two steep hills,the Capuzinerberg (left bank) and the Mönchsberg,on the southern, don't miss a visit to 11th-century fortress of Hohensalzburg.Salzburg is one of most beautiful cities that i never seen.
The city of Salzburg has beautiful buildings and churches:Mirabell Castle and gardens,The Fortress,the Cathedral,The Franciscan Church,The Residence,(archiepiscopal palace) and lots more.Salzburg is called also the Rome of the north and the Baroque City,for all beautiful Baroque architecture!
My bus leaved us on Mirabell Gardens and we start a walked tour of the old town after crossing the Salzach river.I was amazed seeing all these beautiful architecture.With out any doubts Salzburg is one of my favorite cities!.Even though my visit was too short.!

Salzburg is another of my favorite cities, Manuel. Looks as if it's a favorite of yours, too. I particularly liked St. Peter's Cemetary, too. I enjoyed my visit to your page. :) |
