THE IMPERIAL RESIDENCE

Schönburnn Palace-GARDENS

The Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens are a World Heritage Site. This beautiful palace is located just outside of the city of Vienna.

It was built in 1.965 during the reign of Leopold I.It was used as summer residence of the Emperors in Austria. This palace was the favorite residence of Emperor Franz Joseph I,he was born here in 1.830,and died there in 1.916.

There are guided tours inside and also there are audioguides availables to know everything of the Palace in your own language. The Gardens are open daily, but this is the only place where you can take pictures,is not allowed to use videocameras or take any photos inside the palace. This is the reason that I'll show you on this page a few nice pictures taken in the gardens.

If you need more information about the city, take a look into my Vienna page, thanks!!.

PALACE & GARDENS

This page will be a very short one,I will show you, just some photos of the palace and also a few of them taken in the beautiful gardens.
This is one of my favorite photos!.

Lovely Schönbrunn page with excellent photographs! Schönbrunn Palace certainly looks amazing from your photo. Baroque Gardens also look interesting to explore! Thanks for sharing. ~ho & pang

Too bad you couldn't take any pictures inside. At least the outside is beautiful and offers lots of photo opportunities.
