In the other side of UNO CITY,you'll see a big wheel and other attractions just in the riverside. Is a good option if you are travelling with children,I am sure that you'll have lots of fun here and see some nice views of the city. This big wheel is more than one hundred years old,and it is one of most important landmark of Vienna!.
Address: The Giant Ferris Wheel and recreation-park
Walking by the Ringstrasse and next to the riverside you'll find this nice and small church.I can't remember its name, but our local guide told us that is the oldest Church in the city of Vienna and is in Romanesque style. So if you're walking by this area, don't miss a visit inside this nice church.
Vienna is the capital of world of Classical Music and Philarmonic Orchestras. In fact in Vienna were born or living some of best classical music composers in world!.
If you have the chance can go to see one of numerous Concerts and other events in the city during all year long. What about to see the New Year's Concert? and what about the Vienna Boys' Choir?.So bad that I visited the city during October!. :-)
This is a photo taken at Burgtheater.
The Jewish Quarter in Vienna,is located next to the riverside. This is another nice place to walk and see all the old buildings and architecture, even though all best buildings, palaces and churches are located in the center.
There are also a lot of small restaurants and shops.

The first thing that you must to do when visit Vienna,is see this beautiful imperial palace:Schönbrunn Palace,(Schloss Schönbrunn),this palace it was planned in 1690 by Johann Fischer von Erlach, the most famous architect of the time. The Hapsburg palace was intended to surpass Versailles in splendour, but thrifty Emperor Leopold I cut the budget, and works not begin until 1696,under Joseph I.
There are some guided tours inside the palace, even though only can be visited some of most important rooms, the whole palace has 1.700 rooms!.There are also audioguides availables,a good choice if you want to learn everything about the palace without book any guided tour.
Here were living also the Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth "Sissi" and it was used as summer residence,it is located just outisde of the city center.
Don't miss to see here the Carriages Museum!.
Address: the summer-residence of the emperor
Another nice option if you are tired of walk too much,is take a ride in one of numerous carriages that you'll find in Vienna' streets!.I don't know the price because I didn't had the chance and the time to do it,but I think that is a good idea and see the best part of the city.
If you have time enough during your stay in Vienna, another interesting and funny option may be take one of this ships along the Prater and have a break while you see the beautiful architecture of the city. There are some ships with dinners available aswell.
Address: The Giant Ferris Wheel and recreation-park
Another interesting place to visit in Vienna,is The Albertina Museum,is located at Albertina Square, just behind the Opera House.
This museum is placed in a huge building made of several diferent parts. Here you can see about 60.000 drawings and near one million engravings, and numerous portraits and nudes by Egon Schiele and sketches by Gustav Klimt.
Address: various museums
Just in front of that colorful building, you can go to Hundertwasser Village,it is a small shopping center, with some bars and lots of shops and souvenirs. It is built in the same architecture of the house
Address: great and unique architecture
This "nice" building, was built in 1980 by the Viennese painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser,he's like the Austrian Gaudí.The building looks nice but I think that is too much coloured. This is a new atraction in the city and always is crowded with tourists.People still living in this apartament building and it seems that they aren't upset for too many visitors!.
Address: great and unique architecture
