I've visited Marbella for a very short time,(3 hours) 20 years ago,and I had the chance to see a bit better this beautiful city,during my time at the Vt meeting here on May of 2006.
Since this time,the city as changed a lot,especially the new city,there are lots of new buildings,hotels,apartments and some huge and nice shopping centres.
Marbella it is located about 53 kms, south of Malaga city,it belongs to the province of Malaga and the autonomous community of Andalucia.This nice city is located also in the COSTA DEL SOL or " SUN'S COAST" is one of most beautiful and touristy places in Spain.Along the coastline of the Costa del Sol,you'll find lots of nice medium towns to have fun in especially during summertime and lots of know places for all visitors from northern Europe,and the U.K ,especially,have you heard about : Torremolinos? Puerto Banús? Benalmadena? Mijas?? well there are lots more to choose from,this area is one of best and exclusive places in the planet to have lots of fun,especially if you're a rich person!.
Along the coastline,you'll find lots of luxury mansions,nice houses,lots of apartments buildings and also a few real palaces from some princes and rich people from Arabian countries,(some of these palaces are not allowed for visitors!) :-) also in the sea you will see lots of luxury yatchs,boats and sailing boats,especially during summer season and in Marbella and mostly in Puerto Banús.
