Tours is a beautiful city located in a region called CENTRE.Is about 250 Km. south of Paris. The city is the capital and largest city in the region.I went to this region of France during my first visit to Paris.
Unfortunately I haven't too many pictures of it,so this page will be a short one.
In Tours you must see: Cathedral of Saint-Gatien. Basilic of Saint-Martin. Charlemagne tower. Wilson bridge. The Castle. Isn't a city too big,so you can see almost all these places walking, also there are a few nice and beautiful gardens to have a rest.
Very close to Tours, another must see in the region are THE LOIRE VALLEY CASTLES. This is a picture taken at Chambord Castle. |
