    Getting TO/AROUND: If you're from abroad then the easiest way to get to Mecklenburg is probably to fly into either Berlin or Hamburg and then hiring a car or using public transportation such as e.g. trains. All in all the Autobahnen are much better in Eastern Germany than in the West for after the reunification they started replacing the old "Reichsautobahnen" of the 1930's with new ones (the government of the former German Democratic Republic, unlike the one of the former West Germany, didn't bother modernising the Autobahnen). However this project isn't finished yet and so there are still certain areas where you might come across the old "Reichsautobahn". It surely makes an interesting experience though *lol* You'll see why,..... *g*
