<font color=purple><i>Spent a month working in and around Kosice in the late summer of 1997. Having been told it's location in the far east of Slovakia and in such close proximity to the Ukraine, I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. The day had started with me being on the Czech/German border town of Cheb. I drove from one end of the Czech Republic to the other and entered Bratislava. Had lunch and then drove on to Kosice passing through Nitra and Banska Bystrica on the way.
