History along the Nile

by lvdpiet - last update: Jun 4, 2006

I visited Egypt on a luxury Nile-tour. From Edfu to Aswan and back to Luxor. Hot and a lot of stones and sand, but what a great history!
So I will build this pages around Aswan, Esna, and Luxor, And I will do it soon!
For all of the tips: See the specific pages!

The Nile cruise

It is a kind of decadent to visit a country like Egypt on a luxury river cruise boat accompanied by everything a tourist could need. But what a great way to travel!

So much to be seen

This boat trip does not include visit to piramids. You have to go to Cairo for that. But on the other hand, the second Pharao peroid is to be seen in temples, graves, and so on.
One of the most impressive is the temple of Ramses II in Abu Simble.
See all of it in the Aswan page!

In A Nutshell:"In good health? Do it!"
