I DIDNT VISIT CARDIFF ITSELF BUT IT IS THE ONLY WELSH PLACE LISTED CLOSE TO DOLGELLAU WHERE I WENT ON A MOUNTAIN BIKING HOLIDAY.

North Wales has a great variety of wild terrain that suits Mountain Biking. A vast network of old drovers and coaching roads provides miles of undeveloped unsurfaced roads and tracks with all gradients of slope.
In addition acres of upland have been subject to commercial forestry planting that has introduced significant mileages of forest road.
Developments at Coed y Brenin Forest where i went have introduced not only graded routes of significant duration but the introduction of custom made single track specifically created for mountain bikes.
