"Beautiful Praha" Czech Republic by DueSer

Prague, or Praha, is a beautiful, beautiful city. It is easy to get around, it has lots of sights to visit, the food is terrific, and the shopping is top notch. There really is nothing I didn't like about Prague except that pesky "pig knuckle" showing up on just about every menu I saw.
Everyone mentions Charles Bridge, of course, when visiting Praha. And there are monuments and churches and the Powder Tower and the beautiful synagogues, none of which should be missed but, one of the best things to do is just stroll around. I even recommend getting lost! The city's beauty is in the buildings - so many different church spires accent the skyline and there are an abundance of art nouveau-style buildings. If you appreciate architecture at all, a walk around the city is a must.
One problem I did find in the city was that a lot of restaurants have the same things on the menu. If you're looking to experience typical Czech food, it seems there isn't much to choose from.
I got around this problem by going to the Jewish quarter. The kosher restaurants offered a nice change of pace from the other menus in the city.

good tip on the streets changing names! We got lost so many times until we figured that out.
