Once you start liking Greece it may happen that you will come back and back and back. Each island has its own character and is so distinctive from all other islands. Traditions and culture is what makes Greece so different. Greek food is simple but delicious, people are very friendly and if you like landscape with no much vegetation you are just at the right spot.

Greece certainly has a lot offer besides, beautiful beaches, good food and Ouzo. Island hopping is surely a great adventure and you will find out how different people and culture is between the islands.

Personally I have been to several islands and to the main land and its capital Athens as well. This year I had a reunion with some old friends on the island of KARPATHOS, which is in the very south right between Crete and Rhodes. Karpathos is a wonderful and quiet place where you still can find the real Greece without too much tourism and imported culture.
