In the winter of 1998, during my last year of doing my MBA, I was awarded an internship with Hitachi in Hitachi City, Japan. As you can probably imagine from the city's name, Hitachi the company is quite pervasive in the small city of 200,000 people. For 6 weeks myself and three other students from my program lived, worked, and toured Hitachi City and the surrounding area. I hope to add a complete travelogue, as I kept a very detailed journal of my experiences.

Lots of good info here. Very interesting page with a good insight on japanese lifestyle.
