Back in 1998 I spent 7 weeks in Japan, 6 working and travelling in and around Hitachi City, 3 days in Kyoto and 4 days in Tokyo. Not only did I meet a great number of wonderful people while I was there, I developed an appreciation for Japanese culture and tradition. If you can afford to visit Japan, I highly recommend it. You do not have to be a seasoned traveller to explore this country however, you do need to have sufficient funds. Tip: bring lots of small gifts to give out as you travel as you will make lots of friends while you are in Japan. |
