<center><b>Special Administrative Region, Peoples Republic of China</b></center>

<b>A</b>t midnight on 30 June 1997, Hong Kong returned to China after 150 years of colonial rule, obviously quite an historical hppening. Almost 4 years later and Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region of China but it holds a high degree of autonomy, operating under the unique arrangement known as "One Country, Two Systems". Hong Kong still keeps its own legal and economic and social syatems which means no changes for people living there and also for visitors.

<b>W</b>hat can you say about <b>Hong Kong</b>? Spectacular city scape, great food, the wonderful peak view, warm people, excellent shopping, fast efficient public transport, a beautiful language, great night life, a good Irish pub, everything in english so easy to understand/get around and finally annoying guys trying to sell you suits!!

Oh btw, Hong Kong's English name comes from two Chinese characters, Heung and Gong ("fragrant harbour")!
