Usually people living in the capitale or the largest town of a country consider the rest of the inhabitants at a lower lever. For instance, France is Paris, UK is London, etc and probably New York is USA, however USA is for the world what Paris is for France, so New York is the center of the World, and in New York, Manhatan is the only place to be.
New York, the city that never sleeps.
It is true, where else in the world can you eat sushi a 5AM, take a breakfast around the clock and do whatever it is possible to do? |
| | Landscape is made of steel, concrete and glas. You recognize tourists in New York: people walking with theur nose up, or having neck pain for too much looking up the towers.
Landscape is special: wherever you watch, you see giant towers. 50 story building a dwarf there. |
Greenwich Village Historical center of NYC, this place remains my favorite. | | |

triplehelix Thu Sep 20, 2007 06:44 UTC NYC is the most diverse place in the country. its the perfect place to see the inner workings of american culture crammed into one city. | steamboatII Thu Jul 19, 2007 20:36 UTC Waiters pre-calcultating the tip. An obnoxious habit, that promotes the idea that a tip is mandatory, regardless of service level. I presume they calculate the tip on the total bill, meal, tax, and any wine. |
