“Minsk is a capital of Belarus, it’s political, economical and cultural center…” as you’ll read it in most tourist guides of the city This place means much more to me, though. I was born here and lived here almost all my life, we grew up and matured together. The city has changed beyond recognition during the past 10 years. If you ask me whether it’s worth visiting or not, I would say “yes”. And that would not be just a comment from a girl, who lives here, but a prase that she heard from every visitor. Minsk is an interesting and exciting place to visit. With the population of about 2 million, it’s big enough to be quite an interesting place, yet not big enough to the point of being scary and dangerous. So come and see it yourself. |
