I live in Penang, not in Kuala Lumpur. But somehow...VT does not list my state. Wonder why? haha. Anyways not a problem.

The pic above is of the Penang Island city center. The tall building is called KOMTAR, it used to be the tallest building in Malaysia...that must have been about 20 years ago? haha.

Penang is a wonderful place. One of it's main attractions and speciality is that you can get food at anytime of the day. It's the island of FOOD. haha Seriously. 24 hours food junction! And the food I must say is the BEST in Malaysia.

Hawker stalls provide yummy and cheap food and drinks. You can have a full meal (a drink & an bowl/plate of noodles/rice) for RM5. Which is about...USD$1.80.

I once spent two nice days in Penang but it was not near enough. You bring back fond memories. Thanks for sharing. Your restaurant tips are excellent. It also reminds me that I need to finish my Malaysia pages.
