Getting TO/AROUND: TheBus. In Oahu, we took a ride on TheBus as it's the only mean of public transportation. There are so many routes. It's very safe but not speedy. On some popular routes it can get very crowded. Sometimes we had to wait for a long time. Well, this is Hawaii, no need to rush. Taking the circle island routes (No.52/55) in Oahu is recommended. You can enjoy sightseeing around the island in just 4-5 hours for just a dollar. Rent car. A lot of tourists rent cars. We recommend you to do so, eventhough the rate here is a little bit more expensvie than other places.
