Pythontastic!

Party & Palin!
April 7, 2003 - Michael Palin made an appearance here in Toronto tonight, pushing his new TV series 'Sahara' in a lecture with photos.
90 minutes of Palin is enthralling, I must say - it was entertaining, with a few Pythonisms thrown in, as he travelled around the Sahara desert.

*I have this on VT as it's a travel-related item!
This isn't a mess - it's a memento collection!
March 20, 2003:
2 years ago today, I arrived in Japan bedraggled, bewildered, and beginning an adventure. This day marked the start of 8 wonderful weeks zipping around Japan & Europe, based primarily around my brother's wedding in Nagoya.
With that date in my subconscious, I've begun a shorter vacation today (well, just a week & it looks like I won't get much farther than the front step this time!) (Oh, well, I need to finish painting the apartment & build a bookcase... might as well...)

Welcome to the world of Party Rambo's travels!
I've only recently (since summer 1999) become an avid traveller, and have seen more of the world since that summer, than in my previous life(s) combined.

I have a twisted... err... wicked... uhh... bent... ummm... let's say just plain ODD, sense of humour, and you'll see that reflected in much of the commentary in my pages. All of the pictures were taken by me (unless I missed a photo opportunity & stole one from the web later, in which case I will admit it!)
March 2002 - recent news - Florida in February - an apartment on Miami Beach, facing the ocean... makes you want to wake up in the morning, open the sliding glass door & walk out into the sea for a swim... too bad it was on the 6th floor...
