    • Balanced Rock is in the Guiness Book of World Records. It is one of the most amazing wonders in this world. Now this is some serious physics! It's amazing that such a huge rock can be sitting on top of a small rock! We used to go here and spray paint our names in the rock. There was a canyon on each side of balanced rock, with natural hot springs pools. We used to skinny dip and go fishing. We also used to go canoeing too.. You could climb up to the very top of the rock where it is flat, and have a pic nic on top. Back behing the rock is where the caves and stuff is. There's a place called Devil's Kitchen. It's got old ancient writings on the wall and things like that. The rock is located in the desert as you can see. There is nothing but farm land, and mountains around. It is pretty dry. This area was used for big bon fire parties, bunnie bopping, motorcycle riding, and all other kinds of country stuff. It would definately surprise you what us country bumpkins came up with to keep ourselves enetertained!
