***Welcome To Cornwall*** This was my first ever Virtual Tourist page, created in the dark, distant days when VT had all but a handful of locations within the United Kingdom. Cornwall was not amongst them, and Plymouth, Devon, was the closest location to my home. I have added quite a bit of information to this page, in the Travelogues, and I don't intend to rewrite them now that VT has added thousands of new locations. Also, I did use HTML quite a bit in the past, and now that HTML id disabled, you may find certain areas where I haven't yet had time to edit the old codes out. But I'm working on it!
I have lived in Cornwall for well over 30 years, and my family have many links to the region, especially through agriculture. I live on the edge of Bodmin Moor, a rugged and sometimes bleak area of moorland and hills, not far from the inn made famous by the aurhor Daphne du Maurier's novel 'Jamaica Inn' (see my Discovering Bodmin Moor' travelogue). My main hobbies are sailing and horse riding. I have four horses, two of which I bred myself.
