Waterville is a small town, situated on Highway 44, about 20 miles to the West of Williamsport.

It is the confluence of Pine Creek River, which has its headwaters in the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, and the Little Pine Creek. Pine Creek river joins the Susquehanna River near Jersey Shore.

We stayed here at the creek side in a cabin, owned by Judy's (JudyinPA) boss, Dan. Much to Mary's delight, we never saw a bear, rattlesnake or anything really dangerous, although Mary did have a fight with a wild turkey later (see tips).

Was that a boa constrictor Mary saw? :-) if you and Mary hadnt been able to get in the cabin you could have slept under the stars and think of the wild animals roaming about! And no I dont mean Judy. Great to see Judy and Mary tucking into their grub! :-)
