I was born and raised in Boston. I love Boston and I miss it as I am now living in Japan. I hope that those who have never visited will someday get to go and enjoy all the wonderful sites in my home city! I try to visit home every 6 months or so, to see family & friends, eat & shop!! There's so much to do here. I don't always stay in the city itself though. Boston is surrounded by Cambridge, Quincy, Brookline, Somerville, Revere, Charlestown, Roxbury, etc. And then there are the suburbs less than half an hour by car from Boston (north): Somerville, Lexington, Concord, Winchester, Arlington, Burlington, Stoneham, and so on. If you come to the Boston, check out the other areas as well. If you don't have a car, that's ok. The T (our public transportation system's nickname) can take you everywhere, even out to the 'burbs! Happy travelling!! |
