"Gwynneth's London Memories" London by Gwynneth

London Travel Guide: 26,553 reviews and 43,839 photos

Walk down memory lane...

My first BIG trip... in fact, it was the first time I had stepped off Australian soil. I was 12 years old... and my father wanted to take my mother, brother, grandmother and me to see where he grew up and to meet the family we'd only ever heard about...

These memories have been packed away for a while... they're kinda cute... one day I'll have to go back and find some 'grown-up' ones. ENJOY!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:The shopping was fantastic at Harrods!
  • Cons:Be prepared for the hustle and bustle of an awesomely huge city.
  • In a nutshell:More than Wall Street and Suits!

Nice memories of childhood :) I hope that lion was not a souvenir you brought home with you in the camper? `-)

Liked the sepia thing and good to know the Queen recognized her subjects! Coming from Perth you'll know the importance of St.-Martin-in-the-Fields (not sure about the stand and the colomn though!)
