Terry, Gwynneth, Lois and Derek

San Francisco and Orlando two cities on opposite sides of the USA that share one beautiful thing... hospitality. From the smallest of gestures to the most outlandish offerings I have never been to such welcoming and embracing cities. The biggest challenge for me was getting over the bad impression I had of America due to the media and the politics it reports on. Having visited there now I can truly say, the people I came in contact with, made the media and the politics seem foolish. Thank you to everyone for opening my eyes and challenging me to find 'real America' for myself.

Visiting beautiful San Francisco would never have been the same without Kofi as my tour guide and companion.

Orlando is truly unforgettable because my gorgeous cousin Derek made sure of that with early morning coffees, brunches, lunches, parties, nite clubs and shopping at the mall. Every girl needs a cousin like mine! Just fabulous!

Home Town, Perth Western Australia... I live in the second most remote capital city in the world... (Honolulu is the first) but here, you'll find the people friendly... the food cosmopolitan with cafe strips, a multitude of international resturants and club-pubs... the night life's surprising and there's plenty of wide open beaches with sunset drenched water to spend your time getting much needed rest & relaxation.

Cottesloe Beach - Western Australia

on Cottesloe Beach in Western Australia and you will discover this awesome urban zone is largely untouched by tourism and trashy trinkets.

Just a 15-minute drive from the CBD, you'll find one of the great things about Cottesloe Beach is that it is patronised primarily by locals. Early in the morning and after 5pm, it becomes the zone of the seriously fit. They swim, run, roller blade and wave ski while enjoying the sites of this gorgeous coastal region during any weather conditions.

The Sheraton Hotel, Perth is the place for us on Saturday nights! With a live latin band, spacious dance floor, good lighting, lounge seating and drink tables... this classy joint has all the ingredients for a great night out!

No matter if you're on your own or with a group... there are always plenty of talented people to dance with while the band raises the heat!

If you can't make it to the Sheraton Perth on Saturday night then there is always The Pallas, Northbridge on Sunday evening! What a way to launch into the new week and wrap up the weekend. The people of The Pallas are ready to Salsa, Rumba and Meringue their way deep into the night. So pack your dancing shoes for a night you're not going to forget!
