Knifes, blades, swords, Yengisar This is a town in between Kashgar and Shache (Yarkant) specialised in making Yengisar Knifes. Andy (my partner) bought himself 4 colorful knifes from here but what? Unfortunately when entering railway station, the custom officer wanted all knifes seized and that cost nearly 200 yuan. |
| | Here are some knifes or blades which I found very interesting to show to tourists, therefore I had this photo taken. The marketing strategy here is, whenever the knife seller wanted to show their customers the quality of knifes, they just grab a cheap knife and they cut it by using the knife you just picked, that's the way of selling knifes in Yengisar. |
| | Islamic gambling? I saw so many Uyghur Muslims such as this photo, in full gambling actions in public. I don't know much about Uyghur peoples or Uyghurese, I just wanted to show you a photo of Yengisar, hope you accept. |
