Yinxu Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 23 photos

UNESCO World Heritage site of Yinxu is all about the cradle of civilization of China. The site is located quite a distance away from the city of Anyang, some 40km. Taxi is reachable at about 26 Yuan per trip, the surroundings are flat almost nothing, only some small tourist shops built purposely for tourism, the rest are undeveloped areas, saw also a river next to the site.

This site (now museum of Yinxu) is actually the spot where the palace of the ancient Shang imperial was, the site is huge in size and quite well arranged for visitors, entrance ticket is like 90 Yuan if I not mistaken (because it is recognized by UNESCO. Check out Wikipedia Yinxu

Visiting Yinxu is not only for the history or study, I find the landscape quite attractive to me and also the weather is fresh to me in March. The overall visit of Yinxu can also help burn your extra fat in your tummy and hips because the size of the Yin Palace is huge and you can walk a lot on a flat surface with mostly fresh unpolluted air. No restaurants for you when visiting the Yinxu site, if you are big eater, consider bring your own bread or whatsoever, there is only a few stores around. Going back is easy after visit, just outside the site is a bus stop and taxi guys are waiting for you.
