A place visited briefly in the course of a journey
Balakot is a town in the middle of other tourist attractions, so its a must visit junction. The little town itself has so nice things to see and many good scene for photos. There's a red Jeep behind where I stand, that was a tour guide name Mr. something something Khan, always Khans around from the first day I entered this country. This Khan is a nice person, very honest tour guide that he wanted to take us to so many beautiful places, only problem is we are not that affordable, public buses suit my wallet better. If you have money, just pay them, you can really enjoy Northern Areas of Pakistan much better than I did, very honest tip for you.

Its such a shame that the recent earthquake (Oct 05) flattened most of this town. I heard it was quite pretty and the people friendly...

It's always good to have honest tour guide... in some unknown places. The only problem is language, right?
