The name of this place is pronounced Poo-chong. An industrial district located south-west of Kuala Lumpur. Puchong in general is big with heavy vehicles everywhere while large sized factories are abundant. Ironworks and other small sized factories together with wastelands full of land fill disposal making the ambience and outlook more than unattractive. Workers from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar and etc nowadays perhaps outnumbered local Malaysians.
How to get there?
To get to Puchong, first you must take a taxi, a car or a bike to Old Klang road and then drive slowly (have to because heavy traffic jams) until you see a road sign at left pointing to Puchong, just turn left and follow the road accordingly. A day without heavy traffic will probably get to see Tesco hypermarket in less than 15 minutes. The bustling area in town is right here in the main photo where you can see big Jaya Jusco shopping mall and Tesco hypermarket. You can explore around to search for things you like. Puchong in overall is big in my first impression, enjoy.
British Tesco hypermarket has a chain here in Puchong. 3-big in Puchong are Tesco, Jaya Jusco and IOI Mall. They all located in the same area also on the same road of Puchong highway.
Puchong has many sections such as Puchong Perdana, Puchong Indah, etc. Fresh faces have no idea where they are just like me when I first saw these buildings. They all built on the highway and once you drive into the wrong path, you will be sent to another village faraway out of Puchong.
Look at this photo which I snapped from the cross-over bridge on the highway of Puchong. The brown colored building is IOI but it doesn't not attract me at all probably due to its appearance.
The traffic as you can see is big and all car drove at high speed. Most parts of Puchong are still under development, visitors must not expect a good looking and clean visage. It needs more time before we can see a beautiful Puchong, hopefuly soon.

Road Trip

Excellent job, highly interesting ! I guess that foreigners have better to visit such places with the help of a local !
How did you manage to find that place? I'm living nearby & always use this road. Not only that it's filthy , but also, the roads will end up with holes from time to time! I guess everyone are trying to avoid the toll! Haha! Keep up the good work!
Hi, is there any interesting places(postcards) to view other than roads and garbage?
yes, we will wait ..... :-)
