How to get there
To taste KNK has to start from the city centre by taking the main Federal Highway and drive towards the road-sign pointing to Petaling Jaya. Once you are on the highway, try to look for Jalan Utara. Exit from the highway and follow the Jalan Utara until you see the traffic light at right which is a turn to Jalan Semangat. Turn right and then drive to the end of Semangat road until you see a round-about, go 12 o’clock and then follow the curve on left. Keep going as you can see the road is now called Jalan 19/8 until you see a Mobil gasoline station at right, the road somehow suddenly switch to another name called SS2/24 and when you turn right it is SS2/45 road which is the road KNK located.

Kayu Nasi Kandar is an India food restaurant. The history of KNK is very interesting where the boss began his stall just a few steps from this present location. From a small stall that sells Nasi Kandar until today when he and partners decided to start their multi-million business in this huge restaurant able to contain not less than 300 customers. This restaurant is not the only KNK but already spreading to the north in Penang Island and many locations in Kuala Lumpur and yet they are ready to go international soon according to an article I read.

Section SS2

Petaling Jaya is too big to build in just a page especially when it involved road names in numeric codes and alphabet codes such as SS2/6 road to PJS 6/2 road and from 17/22 road to 5/23 road, wow this is no joke! Petaling Jaya is too new to have traditional road names, most developers prefer to figure out just a name of the area and the rest leave it to mathematicians. For instance: PJ-VT 1/100 road, PJ-VT 1/101 road, PJ-VT 1/102 road and so on.

The section named 14

The photo I uploaded here is called Section SS14 in Petaling Jaya. Needless to introduce again, this is our McDonald's restaurant which could possibly be the 500th outlet in the country. And then we have Pizza Hut also probably the 250th outlet and still counting.

Malaysian love McDonald's, this is probably an undeniable truth. Whatever it is, let's enjoy McDonald's in Section SS14 of Petaling Jaya.
