New York: From the Telly to Real Life Little children in Canada only ever knew of 3 American cities: Chicago, L.A., and New York. Of the three, I was always fascinated by New York: street crime, glassy skyscrapers, wrought iron fire-escapes, and that catchy Queens accent, "Whatcha tawkin about, Morty?!"
On the eve of my 25th birthday, I landed at JFK for the first time and made my way into the big city. Since then, I've been to New York quite a few times for international conferences, shopping visits and New Year's eve celebrations.
I've promised one of my best friends in New York (she owns an IT firm on Madison and 57th) that if I'm not married by the time I hit 30, I'm going to join her company and enter the very competitive dating scene in Manhattan ... which Sex and The City persona shall I take on? |

Amareyui Wed Jun 2, 2004 21:39 UTC The NYPD muesum seems pretty cool. I want to take a mug shot too, I am sure I will look very much like a criminal. |
