Brussels: the capital of the European Union, the seat of NATO, and the source of to-die-for chocolates, great food, and an interesting mix of architectural styles. But Brussels isn't just sugar and spice and all things nice. It has a a dark side that can make any visitor squirm. Please don't let my less-than-shining statements disuade you from visiting the European Union's capital city. Although I was anxious and tired for my entire stay, I must admit that Brussels does have charm and character. |
