Personal experiences & helpfull hints: Weather in Buenos Aires
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: The weather arround the world is becoming a little bit weird every year. I won't philosophize here about that...

Here in the south hemisphere our summer begins december 21, autumn march 21, winter june 21 and spring september 21.

Buenos Aires is terribly humid. (Women: bring Keratin for the hair!!!)

Our summer is very hot, specially during january and february.
Spring and autumn are pretty nice but a little bit rainny.
And winter for me is really cold, but is not that terrible for "normal people" haha. We may have -2C° but not colder than that.

It doesn't snow in Buenos Aires.

Fondest Memory: In my opinion the nicest time to come here is durin October/November and or March/April/May.

At the end of october all the trees at the streets start to bloom! I like that!!

    Monuments: A gift from Spain
  • Tip Rating:

It's real name is "Carta Magna y Las Cuatro Regiones Argentinas" but it is commonly named "monumento a los espa?oles" cause it was a gift from Spain.
It's located in Libertador avenue and Sarmiento avenue.

    General Tips: Costanera Sur
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: This is an area behind the financial center where you can go just for relax. It's amazing the contrast you can experience there. At the right you have those amazing and modern buildings and on the left you can see an ecological reservation with a river and lots of plants and animals... it's so quiet and nice there!!!

    Recoleta: Vicente Lopez square
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Favorite Thing: This is a square I really like! I used to live at my grandmother's house from 1995 till 2005 and she lives right infront of this square.

    General Tips: Dog walkers
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: You can see dog walkers everywhere, that's a curious custom in Buenos Aires. We are used to it, but people from abroad always get surprised when they see them!

We just got back from BA. We finished our cruise there and spent an extra 5 days. We really loved the city. We would love to go back for a couple of weeks.
