Costa Rica is purely amazing!! I hardly know where to begin. I flew in rather late and headed to the nearest hotel...well, that is after battling with the rental car company. I have noticed when renting transportation outside the US...the rental agency who picks us up almost always has some last minute deals...and if you don't watch your six at all times you can end paying extra. My old roomate plays the bad cop..hard nosed, to the penny...and I play good cop...and use a little southern charm...and that my friends lands us some of the most amazing deals.

So back to the hotel...now we are in the bargaining mode. We negotiated the price from $75.00 to $30.00 and made reservations to stay again the night before we flew out...for $30.00 as well. (Little did I know I would love CR so much I would send Miss Alaska to San Jose by taxi since her flight was early am and I kept the rental car an extra day and enjoyed the beach.)

Well, I just noticed it says a short intro...so I am sure the beginning of my long Texan tale will entice you to read to learn more about our adventures...you can look forward to the volcano...lava and all, jungle fever, fun in the sun, and surf the surf is up!

Ya'll don't go anywhere now...
