We stayed at the Hotel Alqaza in Aqaba right on the northern tip of the
Gulf of Aqaba & travelled all over from there when we were not skydiving.
One of the highlights was a visit to the Ancient City of Petra which is reputed to be 'Half as old as Time' itself. Sometimes referred to as the Pink Red City. Follow me. |
|  | Our Day at Petra Our day at Petra was an unforgettable experience. It was hard to imagine the history behind this ancient place.
Placed 200 feet below the level of the ground, it was used as self defence fronm marauders of bygone days. Homes were hewn into the rocks for security. |
